Four Feet For Anything

On our return from Israel, we took home a dog. He was a Golden Retriever. Our grandparents took him home with his two brothers and took care of him until we got back. Their names were Miki, Bo and Bailey. We took home Miki to California.

One day we were bored. It was Saturday and nothing came up. I wanted to go on an adventure. We decided to go to the creek.

We drove down closer to the water. When we got out, we walked down to the water. We crossed rocks, jumped over, and walked to the other side.

About 1/2 mile down the creek, we found two different ways to go. We crossed the X and waited for Miki. As we watched from across the water, Miki was stepping on the rocks. He looked like he was tip toeing across. He reached out two feet for a rock. Then he put his other two on the same rock. The rocks were the size of a pencil case. He followed this pattern to reach us.

We climbed up and went back. We had to continue the same way we got there. We don't have pictures but we have the memory. That is one adventure I've savored.
